Why I do This?
I didn’t choose the patterns I inherited.
But I am responsible for the ones I pass on.
I am a father of two daughters and a son.
I know what it means to love deeply — and still react from places I thought I had outgrown.
I’ve watched myself respond not to my child, but from my childhood.
That doesn’t make me broken.
It makes me human.
And it makes me responsible.
This doesn’t happen in isolation.
It happens in millions of homes, every day. Not because fathers don’t care — but because unconscious patterns don’t announce themselves.
They repeat.
And children don’t inherit what we say.
They inherit who we are when we’re tired, stressed, afraid, or disconnected.
I refuse to look away.
I refuse to call this “normal.”
And I refuse to let silence be the legacy I pass on.
This work exists for one reason only:
To choose what patterns stop
with us.
